Susan Wiggins, LAC, DIPL OM

I graduated from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received my license to practice in 2013. In my last year of school, I discovered community acupuncture and began reading everything I could get my hands on about this grassroots movement. It was clear to me then that Long Beach needed a community acupuncture clinic.

Long Beach has been my home since 2004 and I am grateful to have this opportunity to share this medicine with my local community. Acupuncture is an amazing tool for improving and maintaining our health. Since I opened in 2013, I've given thousands of treatments from back pain, shingles, depression and anxiety to fertility, lupus, Sjogren's and kidney stones. My patients are my best teachers and I am honored by their trust and inspired by their motivation to take care of themselves.

I love living in Long Beach. We are big in terms of population and diversity yet have many distinctive neighborhoods that create a small-town feel. These qualities provide opportunities for us to learn more about each other every single day. My goal for LBCA is to become a significant community hub, providing a place for refuge, healing, and meaningful interactions.
